Spriggs Forums Being Shut Down

I'm going to completely shut down the forum soon. If any existing members have any parting words, now is the time.

Sorry dude, but the Spriggs series is done. As in, for real done. Done to the point where I'm trying to get as much of the crew together to do a retrospective, tell-all podcast to talk about the whole experience, what went into making the show, as well as where the series was going, including the story behind Spriggs and Willy. It won't be as awesome as an actual season of Spriggs, but at least it will be some closure.

The forums have been dead for a while. I turned off registration a while ago. And I'm also tired of keeping an eye on the forum and removing spam.

At least I'm giving people some heads up and giving them a chance to say goodbye. I don't have a shut-off date in mind, but when I'm satisfied, I'll lock down the News and Updates section, and then that will be it. That will probably be after we do the podcast thing.

I started out as a small 12 year old who loved the fuck out of spriggs and my stupidity at forums being this was the first i joined lead me to be branded a spammer after about 2 years i was welcome as a good but dim witted member who couldn't spell thin i got a spell check from google and so my posts were better and i knew better topics. soon i became a senior member and a 100 post count so i say to all forum members still left see ya if the forums ever become active again ill come back but for now last post

This place has brought me happiness, and this has been one of the best Machinamas ever. It is sad to see it go, probaly never to awaken again.

And when there was a community here, it was of luv and happiness and friendship and annoying people to gang up on and write hate posts.

Finally, it is sad to see all the aquiantances I made here go, never to see again.

So, so long, all yee good people, for this will be my last post on this dear forum, and thank you for the entertainment of the Spriggs series, thank you for the friends i did and didn't really make, and thank you for all the fish.

Hmm. My it's been a good little while. Wish I could have popped on here in the middle of its heyday (I only arrived around halfway through). It was a fun series, though. It also helped me meet a few rather interesting folks. Now to jump to the roleplay threads and save my character...

I read this post around when it was posted... But now that the new videos of the making of an episode was up, I decided to come back to the site...

I just wanted to say that Spriggs will always be my favorite Machinima... I know you guys are done with it, but one day... Just one day..............

You guys will remember it, and maybe, just maybe, you will make a second season... But that won't happen, because you guys said it... But think of it this way. After I saw that video of the making of episode 5, remember the fun you guys had...

Anyways, farewell, Spriggs. Was fun for a bit, then got dull, then fun again. Had some times (good and bad, I suppose), moved on over a year ago, but for the lulz I came back tonight.

I won't miss it.

After finally seeing the production videos i thought i should check back here since i haven't signed in here in a very loooong time, only to be hit by this. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised but part of me was longing for more.
It was fun while at lasted.

Well, I'm glad you guys are moving ahead and getting on with your lives. You can't spend every waking hour of the day monitoring the bullshit of the forums. I enjoyed the series as well as your company, but I know you guys have things to do and I respect that. I just want to say thank you. It really was great getting a chance to talk to the people who created my favorite machinima. There were ups and downs, but that's part of life. I wish everyone I met on here the best, even my "forum enemies." I had fun on here, I really did, but I want you guys to do what's best for you. We've all got our things to do, and in my case, plenty of self-discovery left to do. I don't want to seem overly-dramatic, but this forum and the series were two things that really made me smile on days that I thought I was going to break down completely. I thank you all for that. Also, because I never got a chance to use all of them before,

So, in closing, I just want to say take care. I wish you all a bright and successful future. Best wishes to everyone, and thank you for what you gave me and countless other fans.
